Flagship KL International hospital to offer a fully holistic and integrated ecosystem of healthcare services

KL Wellness City (KLWC), the first purpose-built township project in Southeast Asia to cultivate a lifestyle fully integrated with healthcare and wellness, was officially launched on 1 June, at a ceremony officiated by Malaysia's Minister of Health Malaysia, YB Dr Zaliha Mustafa in the KL Wellness City Gallery, Bukit Jalil.

At a gross development value (GDV) of RM11 billion and spanning over 26.49 acres, the development features an ecosystem primed for world-class medical and wellness living at its core – The Nobel Healthcare Park, the KL International Hospital (KLIH), innovation laboratories, clinical R&D facilities, office towers, retirement resorts, Healthcare Hub, wellness-centric serviced apartments, a Central Park, and more.

In Phase 1 of KLWC, the construction of the KLIH and The Nobel Healthcare Park is in full swing and targeted for opening in year 2026.

A pioneer in Southeast Asia, KLWC will play a key role in bolstering Malaysia's position and track record as the top destination for medical travel and the ultimate one-stop oasis for healthy living for domestic and international travellers.

KLWC is open for collaborations with regional and international partners to jointly develop this healthcare and wellness city.

With support from many main government agencies in Malaysia, the KLIH within KLWC will be developed with an initial investment of RM860 million, creating over 3,000 job opportunities for the industry. Apart from KLIH, several other medical institutions are in KLWC's pipeline to be developed progressively.
