India-based Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE), with the support of Biocon Biologics and Amano Enzyme, is conducting the first-ever 'voice for BT'- International (ASEAN) competition at Universiti Putra Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur on 27th November 2025, during Sci4Life 2025.
For the past 12 years, ABLE has been successfully organising ‘voice for BT’ in India supported by Novonesis. It is a national-level public speaking contest exclusively for final-year undergraduate and first-year postgraduate students of Biotechnology and Life Sciences. The contest has earned wide recognition for providing a unique platform to nurture confidence, communication and thought leadership among future biotechnologists.
Encouraged by its success in India, this edition will now extend to ASEAN biotech colleges across Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
This event will attract cash prizes for the top three student winners. The winners will also have the opportunity to participate in the Grand Finale to be held in India, where they will be competing with the Indian winners for the International prize!
