Singapore: Bangkok is all set to host exhibition and conference on scientific and laboratorial equipment and technology, Thailand LAB 2015, from September 9-11, 2015.

The exhibition will showcase laboratory equipments and technologies, lab services, and lab safety and chemicals from around the globe. VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific together with the Ministry of Science and Technology will promote research quality, laboratory technology, and life sciences & bio investment for the industrial and government sectors. More than 8,800 trade visitors are expected.

Based on many supporting factors, such as the improvement in quality control, growth in life sciences and bio sectors in Asia, the Thai government established a policy to achieve 1 percent GDP from R&D expenditure and innovation. Thailand is now becoming one of ASEAN's competitive hubs for research and laboratory technology investment, which stimulates greater demand for Science & Technology (S&T) in the Asian market.

Mr Teerayuth Leelakajornkij, director, Science and Technology Unit of VNUE AP said, "Thailand LAB 2015 will be organized in a higher-quality fashion with a number of leading exhibitors, conference delegates and buyers from all over the world. The 5th Thailand LAB has initiated many special activities, including the INTERACTIVE@LAB, LAB Innovation Forum, S&T Investment Discussion, and Buyer Program. We want Thailand LAB to be one of the events most mentioned as a quality laboratory technology trade show within the ASEAN community, consisting of over 250 exhibitors, 1,200 brands from 20 countries, and more than 8,800 trade visitors from 40 countries. The trade show will be held at EH 105 and EH 107, BITEC, Bangkok, from 9-11 September 2015."

Also, LIFE Sciences Asia will be held concurrently with conferences and symposia on medical technology, genetics, and virology. The 2nd LIFE Sciences Asia aims to draw more investors and businesses among Asian countries to expand life sciences and bio-technology markets in the future.

Thailand LAB 2015 and LIFE Sciences Asia 2015 are in partnership with local and international associations to host the conferences and symposia to improve research quality, analysis, testing, examinations, as well as laboratory technology and innovation.

The sponsors include the Association of Medical Technologist of Thailand, the Virology Association (Thailand), the Genetics Society of Thailand, the Science and Technology Trade Association (Thailand), the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS). Additionally, Thailand LAB has joined hands with the Thai Society for Biotechnology and Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB) to organize the 3rd Biotechnology International Congress (BIC) 2015 under the theme "Biotechnology for Healthy Society," welcoming scientists, researchers and biotechnology investors from more than 20 countries to share their knowledge and business perspectives during the exhibition.
