The Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Ramathibodi (Thailand) and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland - Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain), have marked a significant step forward in fostering collaboration in education, research, and professional development through the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
After the signing ceremony (as seen in the image) of the Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides had the opportunity to discuss ways to promote cooperation between institutions in the future. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faculty and RCSI is an important step in strengthening academic and medical cooperation between the two leading institutions in the region.
Clin. Prof. Artit Ungkanont, M.D., Dean, welcomed the delegation led by Professor Sameer Otoom, President of RCSI Bahrain and Professor Martin Corbally, Head of the Department of Surgery.
Mahidol University has also recently signed an MoU with Universitas Indonesia (FMUI) – Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM). Following the signing, participants engaged in discussions on future collaborative projects and conducted a site visit to the endoscopic facilities and the urodynamic unit at the Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical Center.
