Schott offers pharmaceutical glass tubing products and services to customers world-wide
Mumbai: The international technology group Schott has been appointed to India's national standards body. As a new Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) member, the company will advise CHD-10, a subcommittee of the chemicals department, on specifications and guidelines for glass manufacturing in India, mainly for pharmaceutical tubing. This allows BIS to tap into Schott's vast experience in the areas of specialty glasses, materials and advanced technologies.

Company data released recently proves that Schott managed to maintain stringent quality standards in the area of pharmaceutical tubing consistently over the last 25 years (1988-2013). Schott offers pharmaceutical glass tubing products and services to customers world-wide from its five production sites in Europe, South America and Asia, including the one in Jambusar, Gujarat, which serves the Asia region.
