To strengthen linkages between academia and industry, supporting research and innovation development

The Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), Thailand, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with We-Win Bio-Medical, Taiwan.

This MoU aims to promote collaboration in joint research, academic and professional exchange, capacity building through training programs, and knowledge exchange in natural products and pharmaceutical innovation.

It also seeks to strengthen linkages between academia and industry, supporting research and innovation development, while providing opportunities for faculty members, researchers, students, and personnel from Thailand and Taiwan to collaborate and exchange knowledge in addressing global health and pharmaceutical development challenges.

This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to advancing academic excellence and enhancing cooperation in pharmaceutical sciences and botanical innovation at the international level in a sustainable manner. It is also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 9, and SDG 17, focusing on good health and well-being, quality education, industry innovation and infrastructure, and partnerships for the goals.
