Singapore inks MoU with Chile for ageing issues

Singapore Minister for Health, Ong Ye Kung, and Chile Minister of Social Development and Family, Dr Karla Rubilar, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the two countries on issues related to ageing during a virtual signing ceremony recently.

In the spirit of strengthening ties between policy makers and professionals, and supporting the World Health Organization’s Global strategy and action plan on ageing and health, Ong and Dr Rubilar inked the agreement to strengthen, facilitate, promote and develop cooperation and collaboration on ageing-related matters in areas of common interest, including: Financing of eldercare services; Integration of social and health services; Housing; Technology; and Dementia
