PHC Corporation has announced that China-based MGI Tech Co., Ltd. develops and manufactures next-generation sequencer "DNBSEQ ™ series (product models: DNBSEQ-T7, DNBSEQ-G400, DNBSEQ-G50) and the sales rights for sample pretreatment equipment and related reagents and consumables in Japan have been acquired, and sales have started for the purpose of supporting the analysis of genetic information by researchers and medical professionals.

The newly released "DNBSEQ ™ series" is a next-generation sequencer that reads a large amount of DNA and RNA base sequences and accurately analyzes gene mutations and expression levels. 

By adopting MGI's original DNBSEQ ™ technology and utilizing DNB (DNA nanoball) technology, DNA is stably amplified, resulting in more accurate sequencing and excellent cost performance. 

In addition, PHC collaborates with Japanese firm Amelieff Corporation, a group affiliated with the most advanced bioinformatics technology, to propose an analysis system optimized for the "DNBSEQ ™ series" and a gold standard analysis pipeline.

Not only is there a need for application tools for analysis technology, but there is also a need for solutions that enable highly accurate data analysis of extracted genetic information more efficiently and economically.
