MEDTEC China is expected to attract over 300 leading suppliers and 8000 visitors
Singapore: China is all set to host Medical Device Innovative Technology Forum and Regulation Summit (MEDTEC China) on September 25-26 in Shanghai with a focus on ramping up medical device development through regulation and innovation.
The two-day event is aiming at providing latest regulatory updates and platform for discussing advanced technology in the sector. MEDTEC China is expected to attract over 300 leading suppliers to the global medical device industry and over 8,000 qualified visitors.
In 2013, FDA released regulations for UDI implementation while in 2014, China promulgated the newly revised medical device supervision and management regulations. The conference is aiming to bring clarity and discussion on recent changes in the regulatory norms.
The main agenda of the dicussion would be updates of regulations on supervision and administration of medical sevices, special approval process for innovative medical devices by CFDA, high value medical consumables concentrated procurement specification, UDI implementation, FDA updates, US GLP requirements and biological safety evaluation.
