UK-based Intersurgical setsup $14.10 million medical device manufacturing unit in China

Singapore: UK-based medical devices manufacturer Intersurgical has invested $14.1 million in the Bio-Pharmaceutical Industrial Park of Changzhou National Hi-Tech District (CND) in Jiangsu, China.

The construction of the new project is scheduled to begin during November 2013. The new unit will be Intersurgical's first wholly-owned production base in China and will manufacture devices for airway management, anesthesia, critical care and oxygen and aerosol therapy.
