Singapore: Mindray Medical International has acquired Australia-based former distributor of Mindray, Ulco Medical.

Ulco that has been a supplier of medical products since 1964 ans has been serving as Mindray's distributor for patient monitoring and life support products since 2007.

The company's offices in Melbourne, Victoria and others throughout Australia and New Zealand will be consolidated as Mindray's branch office in Australia.

Even though the company will maintain its existing operations, it will be renamed Mindray Medical Australia. Further, as per the agreement, Mindray will gain access to Ulco's established sales and service capabilities in the Oceania market and leverage its global platform to support Ulco's future development in the region.
