India's Infosys has signed a deal with Smart Communications to develop mobile solutions
Singapore: India's Infosys has signed a deal with Smart Communications to develop mobile solutions that would allow organizations to listen, respond and make predictions based on machine-generated data.
"Our shared vision of 'Internet for Everything' will help enterprises rely on their remote assets and connected devices to transform their business. The center of excellence is expected to accelerate solutions development, streamline product delivery and give rise to new business models that help enterprises run more effectively and stay competitive," said Mr Jovy I Hernandez, PLDT, first vice president and head of PLDT ALPHA Enterprise and Smart Enterprise."We believe that the Smart-Infosys relationship, backed by the center will allow us and our clients to have more efficient operations and generate new revenue streams," he added.
Mr Dheeshjith VG, Infosys senior vice president, said forward looking enterprises are seeking new ways to deliver a more positive and differentiated customer experience while reducing cost and simplifying technology to sustain growth in today's digital economy.
