Singapore: Scientists are now contemplating on a unique intersection of Astrology and medical science to predict a person's health for the future. If reports are to be believed, big technology companies are gathering data that will enable them to forecast our medical future.

Vida, a recently launched startup organization aims to design an app that pools in data from Apple's Health kit and various other life logging devices such as Fitbits to create a picture of individual health.

At a nominal cost of $15 a week subscribers can enjoy regular in-app sessions with a team of coaches, including nutritionists and nurses, without the expense of regular real-world doctor visits. The app will also suggest clinical tests to patients in need.

The app is particularly thought to aid people with chronic illnesses such as cancer and heart disease that account for 75 per cent of healthcare spending in the US.
