Australian CRO Novotech opens new office in India
The new centre has capacity for 25 staff
Singapore: Further expanding its presence in Asia, Australia's leading Contract Research Organization Novotech recently inaugurated its its new office in Bangalore, India. The inauguration ceremony was attended by a number of dignitaries including representatives from the Australian Embassy.
The new centre has capacity for 25 staff.
Dr John Moller, COO Asia, Novotech, said "This investment demonstrates Novotech's confidence in the clinical research sector in India, and the many positive regulatory reforms that the government is making."
"We have always been very impressed with the high quality of staff that we have recruited in India, and we have taken a slightly different strategy to our India operations. Our Indian staff are generally highly qualified with many years of industry experience. We like to provide them with the opportunity to use their full skill base and they rapidly become senior members of our regional teams," he added.
Established in 1996 and headquartered in Sydney, Novotech is focused on the Asia-Pacific region, running clinical trials in key regional markets including Mainland China, India, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Australia, New Zealandand South Africa.
