VIANZ merges with Medicines New Zealand

Singapore: The Vaccines Industry Association of New Zealand (VIANZ) has merged with the industry body Medicines New Zealand and will now represent the vaccine operations of the big pharmas such as Pfizer, Sanofi, Novartis, Merck & Co, GSK and bioCSL in the country.

According to Medicines New Zealand chairperson Ms Heather Roy, sharing resources and expertise will help the two organizations form a “practical and effective” partnership and provide a single point contact for all the stakeholders.

 

Tuberculosis (TB), rotavirus and brain cancer figure among the new vaccines that New Zealand researchers are working on.
