The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has entered into a partnership with the University of Udine in Italy, to develop a joint programme to cooperate on the scientific educational, research and medical level. The University of Udine, which was founded in 1978, is known for its organ transplantation programme.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by Humaid Al Qutami, chairman of the Board and director general of the DHA and by Professor Alberto Felice De Toni as his capacity as the rector of the University of Udine.
The two parties will be accomplishing a joint programme aiming to create a cooperation and development on the scientific educational, research and medical level in addition to the exchange and development of medical experiences and competencies.
As part of the MoU, the two parties will also exchange scientific and educational papers and studies, exchange students and specialized cadres. It will also see the two parties organize meetings, seminars and joint training programmes and invite researchers and educational cadres to participate in researches, prepare educational projects and exchange of medical experiences for the purposes of developing the medical cadres in all specialties and sub-specialties.
