Beximco is a leading exporter of medicines in Bangladesh
Singapore: For the first time, a Bangladesh pharmaceutical company Beximco pharmaceuticals has successfully made its foray into Australian market with the launch of Pantoprazole, a drug that treats gastro-intestinal disorder.
A brief ceremony was held at the company's premises to mark this occasion and celebrate this milestone achievement. Mr Greg Wilcock, Australian High Commissioner to Bangladesh had attended the event, accompanied by Mr Minhaz Chowdhury, Country Manager, Australian Trade Commission.
Mr Rabbur Reza, Beximco's COO, received the delegates and other officials from Singapore. The delegation was briefed about the company which currently has the highest number of global accreditations in the sector.
Following the ceremony, Mr Wilcock also visited the manufacturing facilities of Beximco Pharma. Mr Wilcock expressed satisfaction with the manufacturing practices in its operation. He hoped that with the commencement of pharmaceutical export, business and cooperation between the two countries will continue to expand and reach new heights in the coming days.
