Merck & Co will stop sale of Zilmax in the US and Canada
Singapore: Merck & Co is going to suspend the sale of Zilmax in the US as well as in Canada. Zilmax is considered to be one of the leading products among weight-gain feed additives for animals. When mixed with feed, it is said that the product can add as much as 30 pounds of saleable meat.
Merck has revealed that it needs to audit the way Zilmax is being used in the fields and did not explain why it was taking such a drastic decision.
