The presentation of Prof. Dar-Bin Shieh currently is the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology features the unique position of Taiwan and government supports make it a perfect place to boost the value of innovations. The current advancement of biomedical industry in Taiwan were shared as demonstration during the presentation.
Breifly he explained How Taiwan will be fueled by world-class research institutes, supportive R&D tax credits and partnership among academia, industry and government, Taiwan is a hub for R&D innovation. It’s technology infrastructure, highly educated work force, and accessible government with incentives to promote corporate R&D, provide resources to turn innovation into results.
About Presenter
Prof. Dar-Bin Shieh currently is the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology. He served as the Distinguished Professor of the Institute of Oral Medicine in National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) and the session chief of Oral Diagnosis and Pathology in the Stomatology Department in NCKU Medical Center. Since 2013, he also served as the founding Chair of the International Institute of Macromolecular Analysis and Nanomedicine Innovations (iMANI).
