Dr Yooni Kim is responsible for overseeing Novotech’s operations and project delivery within the Asia region. Dr Kim is very experienced in Asia’s drug development industry, having managed operations for South Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, India and Japan.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Dr Yooni Kim shares her personal side with BioSpectrum-

My Daily Routine-

Quite early. I am usually starting early morning for meeting our clients from US or EU at their time zone. As a company, we work towards our client time zones. No day is the same as I travel quite frequently; but in general: I tend to review my emails received overnight with a cup of tea and make priority to answer when I first get up, have breakfast and then I’m out the door within 30 minutes!

My idea of fitness and nutrition-

I exercise almost daily. I find it an important way of balancing work-related stress and staying healthy.

My favourite cuisine-

I genuinely love Asian food! I love the variety! One of the benefits of my job is that I’m able to visit many countries in Asia and enjoy the regional cuisine!

My favourite holiday spot-

Home! As I frequently travel, I very much enjoy my time at home. It provides a foundation to my work/life balance.

My idea of balance between personal and professional life-

It is hard to separate them, as I believe they are very much connected. I think it is important to try and enjoy your professional life as much as your personal life.
