Peru, Korea to boost healthcare collaboration

Mr Anibal Velasquez, Peru's health minister will visit Korea on Jan 22-23

Singapore: To enhance bilateral cooperation and boost health care collaboration between the two countries, Mr Anibal Velasquez, Peru's health minister will meet Mr Moon Hyungpyo, the Korean health minister on Jan 22-23, 2015.

Joined by the deputy minister of Public Health and a small delegation of experts, Mr Velasquez plans to promote the technological transfer in infrastructure and health equipment as well as the participation of Korean enterprises in the sector's investment program.

The meeting proposes to create a Center of Control and Prevention of Diseases in Peru, with the latest technological advances its Korean counterpart can offer. Another key issue is the technological transfer of medicine and biological products, as well as the presentation of requirements to include Seoul into the Medical Watch List.
