Singapore: According to reports, Malaysia-based Qualitas healthcare is currently in talks to acquire a Singapore-based diagnostic and molecular imaging service provider, RadLink Asia.

It may be noted that recently Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS) had blocked IHH healthcare's proposal to acquire RadLink. CCS blocked the IHH deal citing competition issues.

Since losing the deal on RadLink, IHH has gone on to acquire five nursing homes in Japan via the injection of $49 million. Recently, it also announced the acquisition of 51 per cent in India's Continental Hospitals for $45.4 million.

Qualitas group operates 11 comprehensive primary-care centers in Australia, a medical and wellness center in India, and a GP and a pediatric practice predominantly catering to expatriates in Singapore.
