Korea based Ewha Womans University Medical Centre has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GE Healthcare to cooperate on establishing a smart hospital.
The hospital will introduce a clinical integration room along with GE Healthcare for the first time in Korea as part of its smart hospital construction project.
The clinical integration room monitors a variety of biomedical data generated from patients in the hospital through a patient monitoring device and delivers it to the medical staff in real time.
The clinical integration room will also store an integrated electrocardiograms management system installed in the intensive care unit, emergency room and hospital wards, which will automatically manage and analyze the patient’s data.
