CSafe Global, the innovation leader in temperature-controlled container solutions for the transport of life-enhancing pharmaceuticals, has appointed Ravindra Rao as Director of Life Science Sales – India.  

“Rao brings more than 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry in India and has a deep understanding of customer environments, workflows and business processes,” said Scott Garchar, CSafe Global senior director of life sciences – Asia Pacific. “He will be a tremendous resource and asset to CSafe customers across the country and we are thrilled to have him on board.” 

Rao comes to CSafe from Cytiva (formerly GE-Life Sciences) where he served as the commercial general manager for South Asia managing business from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal Bhutan and Maldives. Before his 12 years with Cytiva, he held varying sales roles at companies such as Toshvin Shimadzu Corporation and Bio-Rad Laboratories India.
