I am honoured to serve as the Guest of Honour at the BioSpectrum Asia Excellence Awards 2026. Recognising excellence is more important than ever in today's rapidly evolving healthcare and biotechnology landscape.
Behind every breakthrough therapy, diagnostic advancement, medical technology, research discovery, or entrepreneurial success are dedicated individuals and organisations working to address some of society's most pressing health challenges. By celebrating these achievements, we not only recognise their contributions but also inspire future generations of scientists, entrepreneurs, clinicians, and industry leaders to pursue bold ideas that improve lives.
These Awards showcase the breadth of talent, leadership, and partnership across the life sciences community. Beyond scientific and technological achievements, they recognise the collaborative efforts required to translate discoveries into meaningful healthcare, industry, and societal outcomes. Such accomplishments underscore the importance of bringing together academia, healthcare, industry, and the broader innovation ecosystem to create lasting impact.

Conceived in 2008 and held across Asia since 2009, the BioSpectrum Asia Excellence Awards bring the region's decision-makers into one room for one night — and turn that night into a year of recognition.

Guidelines & Criteria
Everything you need to know before submitting your nomination - eligibility, category requirements, and how entries are evaluated for Calendar Year 2025 & H1 2026.
- An independent international jury panel will evaluate and rate each nomination based on the write-up and supporting documents submitted.
- All entries are assessed on achievements and performance in Calendar Year 2025 and the first half of 2026 (H1 2026), unless otherwise specified for a category.
- Sponsorship and judging are kept strictly separate — credibility is the heart of these awards.
To be eligible for an award, the project, service or initiative must be either:
- Launched over the last 24 calendar months, or
- Launched prior to 24 calendar months but with recent innovations that materially improved the project, service or initiative during CY 2025 & H1 2026.
The BioSpectrum Asia Excellence Awards 2026 comprise 35 categories across three tiers. Categories marked Nominations Closed are no longer accepting entries; the rest remain open, recognising performance in Calendar Year 2025 & H1 2026.
