Singapore: Japan is all set to host the 13th International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference, for three days from January 29-to-31, 2014, at Tokyo Big Sight.
The event marks the 13th installment of the event, with a total of 520 companies and organizations from 20 countries and regions scheduled to exhibit.
The nanotechnology event will showcase a special symposium focusing on life and green nanotechnology. The life segment will feature lectures on topics such as regenerative medicine, personalized medicine, and imaging, discussing the latest life-science research findings that are moving closer to practical applications.
The dominant theme for the ‘green' segment will be 'Hydrogen', which is garnering increasing interest as the ultimate source of renewable energy. The program will explore the possibilities of the age of a ‘hydrogen society', which will bring with it fuel cell vehicles and filling stations, as well as residential-use fuel cells for housing.
