Singapore: Roche is going to spend $105 million (100 million Swiss francs) to build a training center in Switzerland. The pharma giant is going to begin construction of the center at Roche's existing site in Kaiseraugst in northern Switzerland. Construction will begin in September 2013 and will end in October 2014.
The number of staff working in Roche's Kaiseraugst's center increased to 1,600 in the last five years, which is a growth of 30 percent. This rise has also led to the increase in the demand for employee training.
