Singapore: Teva Pharmaceutical Industries decided to close its manufacturing and research facility in Sellersville, Bucks County, US, by 2017, as the net income has plunged 26.7 percent for the first quarter of this year.
According to Israel-based Teva's 2012 annual report filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the firm's Sellersville facility employs 472 staff as of 2012.
The SEC filing revealed that some R&D work is also conducted at the Sellersville plant. The company owns the facility and it covers 206,000 square feet, according to the SEC filing.
