Singapore: Medical technology company iSonea will unveil AsthmaSense Cloud monitoring technology at a national asthma conference in Australia.
The AsthmaSense Cloud enables automatic transfer and storage of asthma tracking data from the AsthmaSense smartphone app to a secure cloud-based site, where it can also be viewed on the user's computer. AsthmaSense Cloud preserves the asthma event and symptom history in case the user's phone is lost, damaged, or exchanged and will enable the user to share their asthma trends with physicians, caregivers or family.
The AsthmaSense Cloud system and a preview of the upcoming AirSonea portable wheeze monitor will be highlighted in exhibits at the Asthma Foundation's "Tackling Asthma in Australia - the next five years" conference in Canberra.
Mr Michael Thomas, CEO, iSonea, said that, "This conference is an ideal opportunity to begin marketing this important new technology to a predominantly medical audience. We expect the AsthmaSense Cloud to be released to the general public at the end of March and the AirSonea device launched later this year."
"The global market launch of AirSonea will begin with rollout in Australia. This product is the future of asthma management, and we strongly believe it will change the way the disease is managed in Australia and globally for the next five years and beyond," he added.
