Sartorius VP Alan Burns joins Rx-360 board

Singapore: Mr Alan Burns, VP, quality management, pharma and biotech supplier, Sartorius Stedium Biotech, has been elected to the board of directors of Rx-360, an international not-for-profit pharmaceutical supply chain consortium.

Mr Burns has been appointed for a three-year term, together with six other individuals from the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, who include both manufacturers and suppliers.

Rx-360's purpose is to enhance the security of the pharmaceutical supply chain and to assure the quality and authenticity of the products moving through this supply chain.

Rx-360 has also elected new officers, including Mr Brian Johnson, senior director, supply chain security, Pfizer (who will serve as the Rx-360 chair) and Mr Guy Villax, CEO, Hovione (who will serve as vice chair).
