BGI-Complete deal gets green flag from China

Singapore: BGI-Shenzhen and Complete Genomics have obtained clearance from China's National Development and Reform Commission regarding BGI's proposed acquisition of Complete pursuant to the previously announced agreement and plan of merger, dated as of September 15, 2012, among BGI, Beta Acquisition Corporation and Complete.

BGI's financial advisor is Citi, and its legal counsel is O'Melveny & Myers. Complete's financial adviser is Jefferies & Company, and its legal counsel is Latham & Watkins.
