China Botanic products get $0.8 mn order

Singapore: China Botanic Pharmaceutical, a developer, manufacturer and distributor of botanical products, bio-pharmaceuticals and traditional chinese medicines (TCMs) in China, exhibited its anti-depressant products at the 67th PHARMCHINA fair recently held in Hefei, China.

China Botanic introduced the company's Siberian Ginseng (Acanthopanax) series products, Schisandra products, Tianma series products and other botanic based anti-depressant products at the fair. Due to the increased recognition of China Botanic's all-natural and plant based remedies, the company has received several orders for its products with a total value of approximately RMB 5 million (or approximately $0.8 million).

"We feel delighted that our pharmaceutical products have received greater recognition at this year's PHARMCHINA, which is China's largest pharmaceutical fair," commented Mr Shaoming Li, chairman and CEO, China Botanic. "We will continue to participate in similar public and industry events in the future to improve the market awareness of our brand and hope to generate more revenues for China Botanic."
