Singapore: Australian company Linear Clinical Research has won the Emerging Exporter of the year Award at the 50th annual Premier's Western Australian Export Awards. The awards aim to recognize excellence in the export of goods and services by Western Australian businesses. Linear was recognized for its focus on quality research and outstanding service to the global research and development life-sciences industry, leading to successful business servicing international biotech and pharma companies around the world in just two years. The awards event was held on October 12, 2012.
Linear Clinical Research will now go on as national finalists to the Australian Export Awards to be held in Canberra next month. In addition to being the winner of Western Australia's Emerging Exporter of the Year Award, Linear was a finalist for the Western Australian Export Services Award and the Western Australian Small to Medium Business Award.
Since the commencement of its operations in 2010, Linear has secured contracts from Top 10 Big Pharma companies and Fortune 500 biotechnology companies, secured repeat business and attained preferential supplier status with a number of international companies. As much as 83 percent of Linear's client base are US headquartered with clients located in America, Europe and Asia.
