Unichem earned $43 mn income in Q3 FY2012-13

Mumbai: The board of directors of Unichem Laboratories approved the third quarter (Q3) unaudited results for FY 2012-13 on January 18, 2013.

The company recorded a total income of $43.2 million (Rs232.57 crore) for the quarter ending December 31, 2012, as compared to $41.3 million (Rs222.62 crore) in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, recording an increase of over four percent. The total income for nine months ended in December 31, 2012, increased by 25 percent as compared to corresponding nine months.

Profit after tax for the current quarter increased 24 percent. Profit after tax for nine months ending December 31, 2012, increased by 66 percent as compared to corresponding nine months in the previous year.
