CyberKnife System earns over 1 mn in revenue
CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System is located in Changhai Hospital
Singapore: CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System, located in Changhai Hospital, along with da Vinci Surgical System, has treated over 170 patients since the start of its trial run in February 2012, achieving revenue over a million, says Concord Medical Services, a leading specialty hospital management solution provider and operator of the largest network of radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging centers in China.
The CyberKnife System is an advanced method of radiosurgery, which delivers highly targeted and effective doses of radiation with the highest levels of accuracy with minimal radiation exposure and side effects related to many radiotherapy procedures.
The CyberKnife System provides the most advanced treatment for pancreatic cancer, with the advantages of more accurate positioning, consistent radiation accuracy through treatment, respiratory movement tracking therapy, more uniformed distribution of target, dose as well as shorter treatment cycles.
The company is in the process of installing another CyberKnife System in another hospital in 2012.
