Singapore, Aug 23, 2010: Considering the fact that collaborations and partnerships are the building blocks of a healthy industry, often as a vital source of cash flow to smaller companies and an injection of innovation to larger companies, BioSingapore has chosen to discuss the topic, "Mergers & Acquisitions", during its BioBusiness meeting to be held on Aug 30, 2010 in Singapore.
BioSingapore has partnered with Mr Patrick O’Reilley, President of Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) and partner at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, Washington, DC, USA, for the meeting. Mr Reilley would share some of the insights on his achievements and give an overview on collaborations between small bio and big pharma companies, using an example of a collaboration he recently facilitated between a bio diagnostic and a big pharma.
BioSingapore was established in May 2004 as an industry association for life sciences businesses in Singapore with the support of the Economic Development Board of Singapore.
