Bangalore, Nov 10, 2009: The Stem Cell Global foundation organized the first of its kind Stem cell Global Symposium (SCGS-2009), which was inaugurated by by Dr. D.C.S. Reddy, Health Advisor, WHO at MRIU campus , Faridabad, Haryana, India.
This event had covered whole healthcare industry constituting Stem cell companies, cord blood banks, therapy centers, top biotech companies, companies dealing in lab reagents, cell media, medical devices, venture capitalists, research centers and investors. In addition to the medical community as delegates, visitors are also included the users side like patients, students, chief of disease societies andothers.
Leading stem cell experts participated as speakers in the SCGS-2009 and shared their experiences and views about future of Stem Cell Therapy.
Dr. C M Habibullah Spoke on “Progress of Stem Cell Therapy in Liver Diseases”, Mr. Vijay Kumar of Thermogenesis spoke onhis company's Technology for Cell Separation & Cryopreservation of stem cells,” Dr. Ajit Kumar Spoke on “An Overview of Recent Advances in Stem Cell Technology” and insisted that this technology should be provided to all the needy as Stem Cell Therapy is future of medicine.
Dr. J. S. Rajkumar OF Lifeline Hospitals spoke on “ Adipose Tissue Derived Stem Cells- A Boom of Regenerative Medicine” as this topic of discussion was really energetic, Dr. Sanjay Mittal from Apollo Hospital spoke on “ Current Stem Cell Therapeutics for Cardiac diseases” and Dr. Rakesh Ojha spoke on “ Cord Blood Transplantation in adults” and many more leading experts delivered their views and shared their experiences throwing light on future of Stem Cell Therapy.
Beyond the event promotion, exhibitions, presentations and personal meetings, SCGS-2009 released its first magazine “SCAAT-Stem cell & Anti aging therapy.”
SCGS-2009 was integration of all healthcare aspects on a single stage with an aim of advancement in understanding of stem cell & other related technology.
