Bangalore, Nov 9, 2009: Aurobindo Pharma, a Hyderabad, India-based pharma company has received final approvals from the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for two ANDAs—Cefotaxime for Injection USP 500mg, 1g, 2g and Cefotaxime for Injection USP 10g pharmacy bulk pack.
A prepared release from the company said Cefotaxime for Injection is the generic equivalent to Claforan for injection of Sanofi Aventis.
Cefotaxime for Injection and falls under the Anti-betallactum segment and is ready for launch.
Aurobindo now has a total of 109 ANDA approvals from FDA
