Singapore, Sep 08, 2010: Mindray Medical, a developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices in China, has appointed Mr Minghe Cheng as Chief Strategic Officer of the company. Mr Cheng's role will primarily include business model development, short and long-term strategic program planning and corporate structure and operation-process optimization.
"Mr Cheng's extensive breadth of experience with Mindray's strategy and development makes him the ideal choice for this position," said Mr Xu Hang, Mindray's Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer. "We are confident that Mr Cheng will continue to add value to Mindray's brand and play an instrumental role in helping the company benefit from new business and market opportunities."

As a co-founder of Mindray, Mr Cheng has served 17 years in various roles across Mindray's sales, marketing and strategic development departments since the company's establishment. Mr Cheng received his bachelor's and master's degrees in biomedical engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
