Singapore, May 7, 2008: Cincinnati based Kendle, a leading, global full-service clinical research organization (CRO), has appointed Ms Patricia Williams to the position of Vice President, Commercial Operations. In this newly created position, Ms Williams will provide leadership for global contract execution and negotiation with the company's biopharmaceutical customers, including master service agreements and changes in scope. Ms Williams will be based in Kendle's European headquarters in Crowthorne, England and will report directly to Mr Chris Bergen, Chief Operating Officer.

 

Ms Williams, who brings a decade of global contract management expertise to this position, joins Kendle from one of the world's largest CROs, serving most recently as Vice President, Global Contracts. Her experience also includes serving as Assistant Global Director, Proposal Development and Contract Management for another global, top-five CRO.

 

Ms Williams, who earned her Master of Business Administration from Henley Management College (Oxfordshire, England) and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Sussex (Brighton, England), is also a registered nurse. In all, she possesses more than three decades of medical, pharmaceutical and clinical research experience.
