Eson's RollFit seal rolls back and forth on the bridge of the nose, minimizing pressure on the nasal bridge without the need for complicated T-piece adjustments
Bangalore: Auckland-based Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corp has expanded its nasal mask offering with the F&P Eson nasal mask for use in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
The Eson's three simple components: the RollFit Seal, ErgoFit Headgear and Easy Frame, work in harmony to deliver the comfort, seal and ease of use. As the name suggests, the RollFit seal rolls back and forth on the bridge of the nose. In doing so, RollFit minimizes pressure on the nasal bridge without the need for complicated T-piece adjustments. "Every feature on the Eson has been designed to address the common complexities homecare providers and patients face when fitting, wearing and maintaining masks," said Mr Michael Daniell, CEO, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. "Our design team's focus has been on simplicity and performance; the things that matter most to those that use the mask," he added.
The Eson is currently available in New Zealand, Australia and Canada and will soon be introduced to Europe. The US launch will follow after FDA clearance.
The Eson nasal mask complements F&P Pilairo nasal pillows mask which has recently been introduced into New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the United States. The company's Lady Zest Q nasal mask, which is designed specifically for women, is also now available in all major markets.
According to company CEO, Mr Daniell, this line of premium products will contribute significantly to the OSA product group revenue growth at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare.
