Sungwoo Life Sciences and Labex have been appointed distributors of ImmunoReagents in South Korea and India, respectively

ImmunoReagent has appointed new distributors in South Korea and India

Singapore: ImmunoReagents, a manufacturer of high quality polyclonal antibodies used by researchers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, has appointed Sungwoo Life Sciences as its new distributor in South Korea.

ImmunoReagents and Sungwoo will partner to distribute top quality antibodies to the South Korean biotech, life science, and medical communities. South Korea is one of the largest biotech markets in Asia-Pacific, next to Japan and China. With strong support from the government, increasing international investment, and a high performing biomedicine sector, the South Korean biotech industry is set to continue its rapid growth. A 2011 report projected that the South Korean biotech industry would witness CAGR growth of 35 percent between 2010 and 2013.

"This is a promising opportunity for our company," said Ms Ann Black, president and CEO of ImmunoReagents. "Our partnership with Sungwoo will allow us to bring our products to one of the world's fastest growing biotech markets."

In India, ImmunoReagents has appointed Labex as its new distributor. "This is a great step for our company," added Ms Black, president and CEO of ImmunoReagents. "Our partnership with Labex will allow us to introduce our products into one of the world's most promising biotech markets."
