Nanjing: The 75th API China exhibition, which focuses on bulk pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals & intermediates, excipients and drug formulation, has concluded here. The 75th edition has attracted over 1,000 manufacturers, and 30,000 professional visitors was held at Nanjing, Eastern Chinese city.
With 22 percent world market share, annual growth rates exceeding 15 percent, annual output of 800,000 tons, and export turnover of $600 million, China is the hot spot in the world bulk pharmaceutical market.
Speaking exclusively to BioSpectrum William from Shaanxi Hui Ke Botanical Development Co. Ltd, said "API China, PHARMPACK and SINOPHEX is China 's leading exhibition for the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector covering the complete spectrum of products from raw material, fine chemical, intermediate, ingredients, processing machinery and packaging machinery. It is an event for international buyers to meet Asian sellers especially Chinese ingredients manufacturers. We find it useful and we are participating in this event since 1998."
Organized by Reed Exhibitions and China's most established pharmaceutical exhibitions organizer Sinopharm, professional visitors from across the globe have visited the 75th edition of the event.
According to KPMG, China's booming economy and high GDP growth make its pharmaceutical market the fifth largest and one of the most attractive in the world. With its volume and 20 percent annual growth projection, it is set to overtake Japan as the World's second market in 2015-16.
During the API China, SINOPHEX- a specialized show for the world's pharmaceutical packaging and processing machinery was also held with over 400 exhibitors. "SINOPHEX will provide a unique platform for exhibitor community to see significant buyers from all parts of the pharmaceutical manufacturing chain", said Huanle Dai, GM Secretary, Ningubo Green-Health Pharma Co. Ltd.
Next edition of the API China, a 3 day event is being held from 18th April to 20th April 2016 at the National Center for Exhibition and Convention (Shanghai) in Shanghai, China.
