Insta Healt is founded by Mr Ramesh Emami, ex-CTO at Wipro Technologies
Singapore: Practo has announced the acquisition of Insta Health Solutions for $12 million (approx Rs 80 crore).
Insta Health, founded by Mr Ramesh Emami, ex-CTO at Wipro Technologies, is a hospital management solution provider. The company will operate as a separate division in all the 15 countries it is present.
"This is one of the largest acquisitions in the digital healthcare space in India. We are very excited to have them as a part of our fold. We can make inroads to many more hospitals now, we already have 10,000 hospitals on board. We will be able to provide integration with hospitals for customers to have better experience visiting hospitals," said Mr Shashank ND, founder, Practo, in a statement.
"Insta is thrilled to join Practo in our quest to enable digital healthcare worldwide. We chose Practo over some other options as we felt we can together offer superior and comprehensive solutions," said Mr Ramesh Emami, in a statement.
This is Practo's third acquisition post FitHo and Genii earlier this year.
