The user is free to decide on the penalty he is willing to pay on missing out the exercise session
Singapore: A new app, Pact, lures you with money, ensuring that you do not miss out on your exercise regimen. Pact uses money to track your fitness goals. The app is connected to the user's credit card and Pay Pal information.
Fitness goals, as per individual choice need to be set up in the app. Pact has been designed to ensure that the user follows his regimen.
But here's the catch, the user is also free to decide on the penalty he is willing to pay on missing out the exercise session.
The minimum penalty is $5 (Rs 300). The app tracks when the user checks into a known gym and monitors how long he stays. Pact can also be accessed using a fitness band or a mobile phone's GPS.
Reward money comes from people who have missed out on the work out session, said reports.
