Singapore: The Hearing Solution Company (THSC), the largest hearing care retail chain in South East Asia with operations in South Korea, completed an asset purchase deal to acquire Coherent Instruments & Resonic with effect from September 1, 2012, for an undisclosed amount.

Coherent & Resonic has a 12-year history of operating in a retail and distribution business of hearing instruments in Singapore. This acquisition represents a substantial expansion of its Singapore business unit's capabilities.

This acquisition takes the number of THSC outlets in Singapore to seven, making it the largest hearing retail chain in Singapore by permanent hearing centres.

Established in Asia in 2003, Hearing Solution caters to the needs of the hearing-impaired community. It has its headquarters and flagship center in Singapore and also in Malaysia, Indonesia and South Korea.
