To ensure its continuing status as the biotech event well into the future, I have made changes designed to enhance our Convention's strategic value to our members, attendees, state and federal government officials, and international partners," said Mr Jim Greenwood, president and CEO, BIO.
"As the world's premier biotech event, the BIO International Convention must evolve along with the growing and changing needs of this dynamic community of scientists and entrepreneurs. The convention plays a key role in helping our industry grow and succeed in its mission of healing, fueling and feeding the world. As we begin preparations for our return to San Diego in June of next year, we will ensure that the convention remains fresh and focused in support of this important mission," said Mr Whitaker.
