Bruker opens 2 Centers of Excellence in Mumbai and Bangalore in India
Bangalore: Bruker, a leading provider of high-performance scientific instruments for molecular and materials research, has opened Centers of Excellence (CoE) in Mumbai and Bengaluru in India.
The new centers will offer higher level of customer support and provide customers access to multi-technology applications, training and demonstration capabilities. These centers will also aim to support research collaborations between Bruker and key customers in India.
Dr Frank Laukien, Bruker's president and CEO, commented, "With this significant investment in our two new Centers of Excellence, Bruker has taken a major step forward in India to provide highest-level support for the outstanding and rapidly growing Indian research, industrial and clinical communities."
Bruker, which has sales and service capabilities in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow and Hyderabad among other Indian cities, is expecting approximately $50 million in revenue. It employs over 100 staff, complemented by several high-quality distributors with service capabilities for some of Bruker's product lines.
Bruker's long-standing presence in and support for the Indian research community began with initial NMR anf FT-IR installations almost 40 years ago. Bruker is a market and technology leader in many fields, including magnetic resonance (NMR, preclinical MRI, EPR), atomic force microscopy (AFM), stylus and optical metrology, tribology and mechanical testing, EDS and EBSD accessories for third party electron microscopes, X-ray diffraction and crystallography, X-ray and spark-OES elemental analysis, life-science, clinical and applied market chromatography and mass spectrometry, as well as infrared and Raman spectroscopy.
