Dr Vijay Kumar Datla, CMD, Biological E, India, will be given the FABA Special Award at BioAsia 2013
Hyderabad: Dr Vijay Kumar Datla, chairman and managing director of Biological E, will be given FABA Special Award 2013 at BioAsia 2013 today. Biological E is one of the leading vaccine manufacturers in India.
Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA) is a nonprofit society, which represents 20 Asian countries with a common interest in promoting human health through advances in biotechnology.
FABA instituted the "FABA Special Award" during BioAsia 2010, in order to recognize and honour eminent personalities for their contributions to biotechnology and the life sciences sector. The recipient of last year's award was Mr Cyrus P Mistry, the managing director of Shapoorji Pallonji, and now the chairman of India's leading business conglomerate, the Tata Group.
