UniQuest MD David Henderson to move on

The head of one of Australia's largest and most successful university research commercialisation companies has announced that he will be leaving UniQuest next month to develop his directorship interests and pursue innovation in the internet space

Singapore: UniQuest's Managing Director Mr David Henderson announced his decision to move into non-executive directorship roles.

The head of one of Australia's largest and most successful university research commercialization companies will leave UniQuest next month to develop his directorship interests and pursue innovation in the internet space.

"With four careers behind me, I am looking forward to a few more new challenges before I take down the shingle," said Mr Henderson.

"I'm very proud of what we have accomplished at UniQuest, and it has been an absolute privilege to work with the UniQuest team. I am very confident that the company will continue to go from strength to strength in the years ahead, and with the strategy for the company's next five years taking shape now, it makes a lot of sense for that plan to be taken forward by a new MD," Mr Henderson said.

UniQuest Chairman Dr Carrie Hillyard said Mr Henderson's contribution over the past 16 years to UniQuest and the research commercialization sector in Australia has been significant.
